Rose Institute DataHub
The Institute has a team working on a major long-term project to collect, organize, and present data relevant to state and local government. The Datahub aims to provide a central, accessible, searchable, repository of Rose Institute data from its historical catalog of projects, supplemented by newly obtained data.

City Data Project
The Rose Institute is developing a comprehensive database that aggregates and presents city-level information on metrics such as community demographics, voting, governance, fiscal health, economics, public safety, infrastructure, and the environment. This database is initially limited to cities in Southern California. The project will emphasize accessibility and usability through interactive data visualizations, tools, and applications, while offering open access to researchers for further explorations.
Burnweit Database
CMC Alumnus Richard Burnweit ’72 developed over many years a biographical database of California state legislators and other state elected officials dating from 1850 until the early 21st century. Mr. Burnweit donated the database to the Rose Institute and the Institute plans to release a subset of the data.
