Rose Alumni Society

Over the past five decades, the Institute has employed more than 450 undergraduate research assistants, many of whom move to the nation’s centers of influence, and pursue leadership careers in government, business, and the professions. The Rose Alumni Society aims to connect Rosies with one another and with current students.

Interested in giving back to the Rose?

Whether it’s by mentoring a current Rose student, consulting on projects, or contributing financially, we invite former Rosies to stay connected with the Institute. Our community is what makes working at the Rose a singular experience on campus and your involvement after graduation continues that legacy for future generations of students.

Working at the Rose Institute of State and Local Government was one of the highlights of my time at CMC. I cherished the tight-knit community among students and the numerous opportunities to learn about the pressing issues facing our state and local communities. By working with senior staff and other professors on projects, I developed the knowledge base and skills that were instrumental to launching my career as a public servant in Sacramento.
