2025 Fall Preview Program

The 2025 CMC Fall Preview Fly in Program Application is now open.

CMC's Fall Preview Fly-In Program is designed to expand opportunities for emerging scholar-leaders who will benefit from full exposure to Claremont McKenna College’s mission, Open Academy commitments, and the implementation of the CMC Opportunity Strategy. The Preview Program supports the Admission Office’s efforts to recruit and admit high-achieving high school seniors who have demonstrated resilience in pursuing educational and leadership opportunities.

Admission to the program is selective. Priority is given to students who are first-generation college-going, or from rural or low-income backgrounds. In addition, students who face financial, geographical, or other social barriers to visiting campus will benefit most from the opportunity for academic and social immersion with our community.

As part of the application, students will be asked to reflect on how and why participation in the program will support their college search and help them make an informed choice about applying for admission to CMC. By leveraging the strengths of our tight-knit community, the Preview Program provides participants with an opportunity to connect with current students, learn about cultural and affinity organizations, engage in conversations with professors and staff, and actively participate in discussions where our students can highlight the social, academic, and extracurricular resources and opportunities available at CMC. The program is free and will cover all airfare, lodging, and meals during the students’ stay on CMC’s campus.
